And Jesus Wept
These photos are from my stop in downtown Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The statue of Jesus, is titled, “And Jesus Wept”. It was erected after the Oklahoma City bombing which happened on April 19, 1995, seventeen years ago today. The bombing claimed the lives of 168 people, 19 of which were children under the age of 6, and injuring nearly 700 others. This tragedy was the most destructive act of terrorism on American soil until the events of September 11, 2001.
